Owner of Portraits By Kendra K. I've been photographing families and seniors/graduates in Shreveport since 2024.
When my dad passed away, I realized something that changed everything for me—photos weren’t just images, they were the only tangible pieces of him we had left. Each one held a memory, a feeling, a story I never wanted our family to lose again.
Before photography, I earned a degree in music education and spent years as a stay-at-home mom, supporting my husband’s Air Force career and raising our girls. That season taught me just how quickly life moves—and how important it is to hold onto the moments that matter.
What I love most is seeing my clients experience their memories in a real, lasting way. Not buried in a phone, but displayed on their walls—where they can relive those moments every single day.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me cheering on my daughters, Aubrey and Sophie, spending time with my husband Ben, or traveling together as a family. I’m proud to be part of a community that truly supports small businesses and shows up for one another—and giving back is my way of doing the same.
